Our shawls, scarves and stoles are created by the Srishti Charitable Trust, in Munnar, Kerala. The Trust employs differently abled individuals through a sustainable textile production of silk, bamboo silk and cotton shawls, scarves and stoles using natural dyes, sourced from the surrounding environment. Indigo, pomegranate, and turmeric are among the natural ingredients found in Munnar's lush forests.

Weavers across India contribute textiles to the Trust, which are then transformed using block printing, tie-dye, eco-printing, and Shibori techniques. The Dye House benefits from the expertise of Shibori scholar Yoshiko Wada and Indigo mentor Axel Becker. Their guidance has fostered unique skills among the artists.

Ethical and sustainable practices are important. Waste from the natural dyeing process is treated and recycled, nourishing Srishti's gardens. Traditional and contemporary patterns, including Shibori variations like Arashi, Itajime, Miura, and Kumo, decorate the textiles. Block printing, using hot wax as a dye-resist, and freehand batik further enhance the designs.

Srishti's commitment to recycling, up cycling, and sustainable methods ensures that each piece is a testament to both artistry and environmental responsibility.
